Concepts in question. A one-day course key stages 2 and 3
Building concepts through Philosophy for Children

This series of courses will include suggestions for stimulus material and activities to draw out complex thinking about important concepts. It will help teachers of Philosophy for Children to plan themed sequences of enquiries and find a balance between questioning, enquiry and persistence in tackling important philosophical issues. The course may also be of special interest to teachers who want deeper thinking about some concepts in the SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning) project or who are working on combining some subjects into a concept-rich curriculum.

An excellent and fulfilling AND most rewarding day. The seminar opened the doors to a wide range of lessons in cross-curricular subjects. Will certainly use ideas in school.

This was a truly brilliant course and I will be returning to school next week to attempt a Readers Theatre topic on the Saxons.
